Sometimes I do strange things…
The other day I was browsing craigslist and found an ad for somebody looking for photographers willing to pretend to be papparazzi for a film. It paid $10. So of course I replied. I brought a buddy of mine and we and another photog had a great time. Here’s a few of the images I grabbed while there.
You can also see in the last image where I live as viewed from Manhattan. My giant apartment complex looks so little from like 3 miles away.

I got a new kitty everybody!!! He’s freakin adorable! I’ve decided to name him Loki because I can tell already that he’s going to be trouble. In case you’re curious about his awesome coat, he’s a Snow Bengal. Which is to say that he’s part Snow Leopard and better than your cat!

Smoke and Mirrors…
Last night I got to work creating step one of an image I’ve been mulling over for a while. Eventually I plan on working this into something larger but the results for now are fantastic. The smoke was made with a hookah and since there was only two of us we got dizzy pretty quick lol. That smoke wasn’t staying in place for very long at all, haha. Another fun tidbit is that the pics were all in color. they just look black and white. How cool is that? Check em out:

Today I’d like to talk about things you do when you’re naked. Or maybe you don’t but I do. Either way, they are things that happen when one or possibly more theoretical humans are in the nude.
Ever do that thing where you’re getting dressed and while you’re putting your underwear on you manage to snag a foot or a toe on part of the fabric? Or maybe you just miss the hole entirely and plant your toes on the elastic because you’re coordinated like that. I do that. Isn’t it scary, that moment of panic where you’re teetering toward the floor but you don’t know what to do because you’re naked and helpless and only have one leg to stand on?
Have you ever been in the bathroom and noticed your ass in the mirror and just thought to yourself “Ya know, I haven’t actually looked at my own ass in three weeks. Weird.”? I just did that.
I enjoy decadence. I love to do very decadent things. One of the decadent things I enjoy doing is taking a long bath while watching a movie or reading a book. I like a large glass of wine on my left and some sort of snack like prosciutto on my right. So, the other day I decided to substitute my drink for ginger beer(which is not actually beer). Have you ever had this stuff? I took one swig, sprayed it all over the bathtub and screamed “HOLY CRAP GINGER!” … I would recommend trying it.
i’m really happy with life right now…
this is me sitting in my awesome new chair in my awesome new bedroom at my awesome new desk and bookshelf, all of which i purchased and built myself(except i didn't build the room lol).

[UPDATE] so, i finished what i wanted to edit in the pics i took the other day and wanted to share them. i’m just going to replace the images that were up already since i’m posting two better copies anyway. please leave a comment about which one you like best or what you think of any of them. thanks!
i was just out taking pictures for a client and decided to do a little something for me while we were at it. i wanted to have some fun with the poker room in our building so we went there and played with the lights. if you’re interested in lighting or how i balanced things, feel free to leave a comment.

so, another blog that i follow that i would like to plug is ZooBorns. the blog focuses exclusively on animals recently born in captivity or rescued from dangerous conditions in the wild to be rehabilitated. there are some really touching stories on there like a recent one about a koala who was apparently hit by a shotgun blast and survived with the help of a very caring team of doctors. most of is is just plain cuteness though. if you like adorable tiny fuzzy things(sometimes not tiny, eg. rhino)(sometimes not fuzzy, eg. lizards)(sometimes not adorable, eg. basically any baby bird) then this blog is for you. and as with the other blogs that i will be promoting, you can find a link to it in the right sidebar.
