the national aviary…
here’s a few photos i took while visiting the national aviary. it was actually rather unimpressive for being the national one but whatever. there was still some cool stuff and some really awesome penguins. and just for a sense of scale: the crazy dodo-looking bird is actually about three feet tall. it’s the goofiest thing i’ve ever seen in my life and it’s call sounds like kathy griffin laughing. enjoy:

i’m not sure why but i’ve been really lazy about posting photos recently. i’ve shot a lot so for the next bit i’ll probably post a few pictures per day.
these are some photos i took for my friend’s engagement. it was in the middle of all the nice fall colors and that made it a great time to shoot on MSU’s campus.
